Yummies Bistro in Soutd Padre Island

Well they got the name right for sure! Our initial visit was to grab a to go coffee and kid drinks for e everyone. The coffee was delicious and the food looked amazing so we asked for a table. The food is wonderful. I never give five stars. But it was absolutely perfect. Everything was super fresh and perfectly done. Everybody we met working here was incredibly and genuinely nice. They seemed to live their jobs! Waffles were amazing. Pancakes amazing. The Avocado toast is a giant surprise. Sooo delicious!Tacos and the shrimp omelette were on point!It was so good we ate here the next day for breakfast again! Definitely going to visit on our future visits!

First time here yesterday. Pros: excellent customer service. The lovely hostess' quickly got me a table despite almost a full house. Server and server helpers were attentive. Despite having plenty of tables, food arrived as ordered and was good. Cons: none.

The service was amazing, food quality amazing , price amazing. I don't regret any of it and would gladly go again tomorrow

Super delicious! Best place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. From tacos to waffles and sandwiches they have just about a little bit of everything. Friendly staff and has an outdoor eating area. Fairly priced and drinks are delicious too... In case you're in the mood for a beer or a MIMOSA! They have wine too. Two restrooms.

Extremely friendly staff. The food is amazing. The actual location is small but overall comfortable. Highly recommended. Their eggs Benedict are the best I have tried.

We have been vacationing in South Padre for 7 years now and Yummies Bistro has always been at the top of our list. Everything is still the same, great food, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere.

They are attentive. Enjoyed going there everyday while visiting. The Spanish Maquiarro is delicious, decaf or with caffeine 👍 Keep up the good work!

This restaurant is a little treasure. The breakfast here is amazing. I personally love the various omelettes they have on the menu. Had the farmers omelette this morning and it was top notch. The cinnamon coffee is also exceptional. I make sure I eat here every time I visit South Padre Island.

This was the first place we stopped at after reaching to South padre island. Around 1 pm they were still serving breakfast. This place was crowded. We had to wait few minutes before the owner took us inside. Our waitress Becky was very nice, polite amd friendly.I got blackened shrimp po boy with Mexican coffee and my wife got waffle and scrambled egg.Po boy was delicious and very flavorsful loved it! And my wife also loved her waffle and eggs.Mexican coffee was from a hot beverage menu but we asked them to make it cold.Everything was awesome about the place the vibe, the ambience and energy it was lovely.

Our go to breakfast place every single time we go to SPI! Hands down the best place ❤! Their coffee is amazing and the food freaking delicious! Service is super friendly. Love it!

This place was our 3rd choice for breakfast but next time will be our 1st. I got the classic eggs benedict and hubby got the version with steak. Both were exceptional and decent portion sizes. I also got the tropical mimosa and hubby had 2 different coffees. Overall, decent price, good service and great food. We will be back when we visit SPI again.

Took my family on a vacation to SPI, and ended up coming here for breakfast our first morning here. The staff was great, and the food was awesome. We ended up coming back our second morning here. Great food. Great staff. I highly recommend it.

Nice local place for breakfast or lunch. Large menu and can get breakfast anytime open. Tortilla soup and a half sandwich of ham and gouda on sourdough bread was very generous serving and loved the carlmelized onion too all for 8.99 so very affordable too. Great selection of pies too!

Awesome place for brunch! They’ve got an adventurous menu with breakfast standards and more things I’ve never even seen before. It wasn’t overpriced in my eyes either like so many things can be on this island. To top it all off they’ve got awesome coffee and espresso drinks! We loved our eggs benedict and bacon-stuffed waffles with eggs!I’ll be back again to try something new!

Favorite breakfast spot on South Padre Island. The owners are always there and keep the place in tip top shape. The food is amazing and great coffee selection. Perfect place for the family!

There was a wait when we arrived at 1030. We soon found out why. Service was amazing, and recommendations were spot on. This restaurant came highly recommended, and it definitely lived up to it's hype.Spanish Macchiato was so spot on perfect. Bacon stuffed waffles were delicious. Took a cinnamon roll home...was a hot with kids. Okay..yes..I did have a taste. YUM!Can't wait to get back!

Always great service and fresh food. Depending on the time you come to the restaurant, it will be super packed and waiting time can be over an hour. When the weather is nice, I completely recommend you eat outside!

We were there today and it was good. The only complaint would be that the fruit plate had moldy grapes. They were super nice about it and brought more. We enjoyed our meals and our coffees.

Yummie’s has the best breakfast on the island! The place is always packed and it is well worth the wait. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes with eggs and sausage, and it was delicious.

The food here is amazing. The presentation is on point. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We had a broad sampling of their breakfast items and they were all winners.

Incredible food with many organic choices. The Breakfast Bistro sandwich is da bomb as well as the Detox Salad. They have cage free eggs as well. Highly recommend. The hot tea comes in its own pot and honey in a cup. Outside seating too.

My husband had been wanting to stop by since we got on the island, but they were always really busy and close at 2pm. We finally were able to for breakfast and it was totally worth it! I had a belgian waffle with bananas & pecans, really good. I also had gotten the farmer's omlette because I wasn't sure if the waffle would fill me up...but the omelet was HUGE and delicious. It came with toast and potatoes, it's definitely enough for a meal or to share. We recommend this place for breakfast for sure!

I kept coming back to have breakfast here. Fast kitchen, tasty food, weekend wait staff was friendlier but still not bad, prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this place and I think most people do, there usually a line starting at 9.

This place was so delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better local mom and pop restaurant/coffee shop. It was our first time there and we will definitely be returning. The coffee was delicious and the food was made with love. Thick pancakes, sweet French toast, amazing breakfast quesadillas and flavorful biscuits and gravy. Totally recommend!!!

Customer is A1. Atmosphere is A1. Pricing is A1, especially if you're a veteran. Food is really good depending on the dish. If you like a lot of salt, then I would recommend the shrimp scampi.

Absolute perfection!! Everything was fresh and delicious! The service was phenomenal!! I had trouble finding the location and was forced to eat at a nearby Denny's the past two days. I so regret going to the Denny's after having eaten here! Denny's was AWFUL!! I highly recommend Yummies and will stop by the next time I visit SPI!!

Yummy! The California Benedict and iced Island Bash were so good! Make sure to ask for the homemade salsa for the potatoes and the service here is great.

It was my first time here. Me and my friend were looking for different kind of food but it was the only restaurant open. First I want to compliment them for working things out with other restaurants by sharing the outdoor tables during this crisis everyone can have the opportunity to get some business. The food is great; I ordered the philly sandwich and my friend the shrimp and cherry salad. We were not expecting that: the flavors and the presentation was superb. We order mimosas too and the tasted great. I will definitely coming back when visiting. Amazing! Simply amazing!

We just got back from SPI...my wife and i stumbled across Yummies...i had the farmers omlette and my wife had the eggs benedict...and spanish macciotta...spelling???.ha ha...they were wonderful...we ate there every morning for 3 days ..pricing was really good too...service was outstanding..would recommend!!! 20 stars if i could...

This restaurant was OUTSTANDING! They provided my very large family with beautiful presented DELICIOUS food and I can't wait to go back again! They got to us quickly and listened well. They gave us our orders swiftly and there was very little wait! We also had the opportunity to try their frappes which are AMAZING! 10/10 Recommend!! Fantastic restaurant!

Do not leave South padre island without eating breakfast here. I never missed it in years wonderful variety and staff.

Its been a long time, almost 5 years since I went here but lemme just say even after these five years I still remember how amazing their shrimp tastes. Best I've ever had...and I've had a lot of fresh seafood before. GO TAKEOUT AND BUY FROM THIS RESTAURANT I DONT WANT IT TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!
